Hello.

I started my health care journey as a Registered Practical Nurse after graduating from Georgian College in 2011. Over the years, I explored different areas of nursing, but it wasn’t until I found mental health nursing that I truly felt at home. I spent 9 years advocating for patients' mental well-being, and it’s still something I care deeply about.

Becoming a mom took that passion to a whole new level. I quickly realized just how challenging parenting can be on your mental health, especially in those early days. Breastfeeding was hard, and I’ll always be grateful for the incredible lactation consultant who helped get me on my feet. That experience really stuck with me.

Living in a rural area, I also felt firsthand how limited the support systems can be for new parents. I knew I wanted to help change that—and that’s what led me to pursue becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

I’m so glad you’ve made it here! Breastfeeding is a beautiful, empowering, and natural way to nourish your infant, but it can also be super challenging. With the right support and resources, you can overcome those challenges and feel confident in your skills. Whether you choose to breastfeed or bottle-feed, I’m here to help you reach your feeding goals.

I’m passionate about everything pregnancy, newborn care, and infant development. I'm committed to continuing my education and staying up to date, and I’m really looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned with you.
